One of Fellini?€™s first writing jobs was to translate Flash Gordon into Italian and Fellini was a huge fan of Marvel Comics. Fellini is also credited for the term ?€?paparazzi?€? that comes from a character (Paparazzo) in La Dolce Vita who is a journalist photographing the rich and famous. Fellini?€™s films La Strada in 1954, Nights of Cabiria in 1957 and 8/12 in 1963 plus Amarcord in 1973 won Oscars for Best Foreign Language Film. He was married to Guilietta Masina from 1943 until his death on October 31, 1993. They had one child who only lived for one month.
