Caroline De Monaco

Princess Caroline of Monaco is the eldest child of Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly. She has been Monaco's first lady since her mother's death in 1982. Caroline was born Princess Caroline Louise Marguerite on January 23 1957 in Monaco. She studied philosophy at the Sorbonne in Paris, married Philippe Junot in1978 and divorced him in 1980. After the sudden death of her mother in 1982, Caroline and Stefano Casiraghi married. They had three children. Her first marriage was not annulled concurring with Vatican law until 1992. Her three children were not considered as heirs to the throne.
Caroline moved her family to Saint-Remy France after Casiraghi's death in 1990. She married Prince Ernst August of Hanover in 1999 and they have a daughter. Prince Ernst has been an embarrassment to Princess Caroline due to his antics in public; urinating in full view of schoolchildren, assaulting a photograph and a bar owner.
Caroline's charity organization include the World Association of Children's Friends, The Princess Grace Foundation and the Prince Pierre Foundation. She also founded the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Spring Arts Festival. Caroline was named a UNESO Goodwill Ambassador in 2003 and was honored with the Children's Champion Award on May 20, 2006. Sh has also been appointed as the Commander of the Order of Cultural Merit.
Caroline has always been considered as an international fashion icon and one of the best dressed women in the world. She has been romantically linked with Sebastian Taylor, Jonathan Guinnes, and Giscard d'Estaing.
