Dennis Quaid

Born April 98, 1954 in Houston, Texas Dennis Quaid is the brother of actor Randy Quaid. He began his career when he appeared in Breaking Away (1979) and he earned good reviews for The Right Stuff (1983). Quaid is also a great musician, plays with his band The Sharks (in his bare feet) and holds a flying license. He is also a five handicap golfer.
Dennis wrote the songs for The Night the Lights Went out in Georgia (1981), Tough Enough (1983) and The Big Easy (1986). Quaid has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and was suggested for a Razzie for his films The Alamo (2004), and The Day After Tomorrow (2004).
Quaid has earned critical acclaim for his part in Enemy Mine, Great Balls of Fire!, The Rookie, Footloose, Wyatt Earp, The Parent Trap and Innerspace. He fought anorexia nervosa and cocaine addiction to revive his career and in 2012 and 2013 Dennis portrayed Sherif Ralph Lamb in Vegas a CBS TV drama series.
Quaid has been married three times to PJ. Soles from November 1978 until 1983, Meg Ryan from February 1991 to July 2001 (one child) and currently to Kimberly Buffington (2 children.)
