Hartnett's first blockbuster was Pearl Harbor (2001), in which he played the flyboy sidekick to fellow heartthrob Ben Affleck. He also made a splash in The Virgin Suicides (2000), played Jamie Lee Curtis's son in Halloween H20 (1998) and co-starred in the alien horror flick The Faculty (1998). Hartnett is especially a hit with young women, physically famous for his tousled hair and the small birthmark on his neck.
