Her parents were actors John Aniston and Nancy Dow and Jennifer Aniston was born on February 11, 1969 in Sherman Oaks, California. When Jennifer was only 11 she joined the Rudolf Steiner School's drama club and developed her desire for acting. She trained professionally at the Fame School or New York's School of Performing Arts. In 1987 she appeared in Off-Broadway production For Dear Life and Dancing on the Checker's Grave. In 1989 she was a series regular on Malloy.
She had part in The Edge in 1992 and Ferris Bueller in 1990. In 1991 she had a frequent part on Herman's Head. In 1994 she was granted the role of Rachel Green in the series Friends (1994) and Jennifer became famous. In 2001 Jennifer was named as one of E!'s top 20 entertainers of 2001 and was named as one of the 50 most beautiful people by People Magazine. She has also won the International Star of Stars a Scorpio Multimedia Cable TV Award.
Aniston has been a waitress in Friends, Office Space in 1999, The Iron Giant in 1999 and Along Came Polly in 2004. She filmed Friends, Bruce Almighty in 2003 and Along Came Polly all at the same time.
In 2011 Aniston placed her hand and footprints in the concrete at Grauman's Chinese Theater and has ranked #25 on the TV Guide's Network Funniest Women on TV (2011).
