Rupert Everett

Born in Norfolk, England on May 29, 1959 Rupert James Hector Everett was always and arrogant rebel. He was deposited in the monastery of Benedictine monks when he was 7. The monks worked with Everett on the piano. Everett was later disqualified from London's Central School of Speech and Drama for insubordination. He moved to Scotland and performed in Don Juan and Heartbreak House.
He was successful in Another Country in 1984 which launched him into England's hottest new star. He clashed with the press, his fans and his sharp touch caused him to lose film roles. He openly stated that he was homosexual which led to My Best Friends' Wedding in 1997, Shakespeare in Love in 1998, An Ideal Husband in 1999 and A Midsummer Night's Dream in 1999. He has played in To Kill a King in 2003 and Star Beauty in 2004. He play Sherlock Holmes on television in Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Silk Stocking in 2004.
Everett writes for Vanity Fair and was a successful model in Milan. He speaks English, French and Italian and owns a black lab. He has sung as a support singer on Madonna's version of American Pie and sang a duet with Robbie Williams. In 1981 Everett was awarded the London Critics' Circle Theatre Award for Most Promising New Actor of 1980. Recently (2013) he was in Loose Women, Parade's End (2012) and Black Mirror (2011).
