Gwyneth Paltrow

September 27, 1972 Gwyneth Kate Paltrow was born to director Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner. She moved to Massachusetts at the age of 11 where her father worked in summer stock productions. Gwyneth received her love for acting and her early theatrical training during this time period. In 1990 Gwyneth made her stage debut in Picnic at the Williamstown Theatre. In 1991 her first film Shout paired her with John Travolta. In 1991 Gwyneth was given a small part in Steven Spielberg's film Hook.
Her love at the time, Brad Pitt gave her a career boost by casting her to play is wife in the thriller Se7en (1995). Gwyneth went on to play the starring role as Emma Woodhouse in the movie Emma and her acting abilities in that film projected her into the limelight. Great Expectations, Sliding Doors, A Perfect Murder and Shakespeare in Love all in 1998 proved that Gwyneth could carry any role. Gwyneth won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her part in Shakespeare in Love. She also won Screen Actors Guild Award, a Golden Glove for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her part in this same movie.

Gwyneth has been romantically linked with Brad Pitt and Ben Afflect. She was selected in 1998 as one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People and the most beautiful woman in People's 2013 edition. In 2002 Gwyneth was nominated for a London Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Actress.

Gwyneth married Cold Play front man Chris Martin in 2003 and they have two children (Apple and Moses). In 2008 Gwyneth jumped into acting once again and starred with Robert Downy Jr. in the Iron Man franchise. Gwyneth is very busy with her children, interesting lifestyle and cooking Web Site GOOP.
