Demi Moore was born Demetria Gene Guynes on November 11, 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico. She quit high school at 16 and began working as a pin-up-girl. Demi was only 18 when she married rock musician Freddy Moore. At 19 Demi she was a regular on General Hospital (1963). She used her salary from this soap opera to party and sniff cocaine. Whew she turned up high on St. Elmo's Fire (1985) Demi was threatened with firing, opted for treated and returned sober a week later.
Demi was the principle player in Ghost (1990) and her controversial pictures Indecent Proposal (1993) and Disclosure (1994) formed her career.
In 2009 Demi and her very young spouse Aston Kutcher launched the Demi and Ashton Foundation to fight against children sex slavery. In 2011 Demi and Ashton appeared together on Piers Morgan Tonight (2011) to promote their foundations. Although Demi and Aston are divorced, they still work together on the foundation.
Demi is known for her husky voice and vivid green eyes. She hired three cameramen to video tape the birth of her first child and she has been chosen by People Magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world.
