Taurus Ram horoscope

Taurus - Ram
The Sedate Taurus Sheep Personality

People arriving in the Chinese astrological Year of the Sheep are thought to receive some of this creatures amiable character within their personalities. Those born under the Western sun sign of Taurus are presumed to be calm, down-to-earth and fairly self-sufficient. In the combined case of the Taurus Sheep, the Bull influence from Taurus appears to eliminate the slightly anxious and hesitant Sheep traits. So, a Taurus Sheep is usually simply bestowed with the Sheep's tranquility and kindness instead. This makes the Taurus Sheep very sedate in his mannerisms and the owner of a fine collection of lovable and steadfast qualities.

Taurus Sheep are mostly calm and collected in everything they do and in the way that they interact with others. They generally have a cheerful and optimistic personality, and seem to enjoy life and find it fairly easy. These are finely balanced individuals who are quietly confident and usually completely at ease with themselves. A Taurus Sheep looks at things and considers others impartially and with understanding. They are usually able to form an even picture of most people and the majority of situations. This helps them maintain a degree of harmony in their everyday life, work and relationships.

For career choices, the Taurus Sheep is more likely to opt for less-strenuous occupations and prefers to sit down to work. As they are always fair and capable and composed when interacting with people, they can sometimes be found working to help others. A Taurus Sheep is not driven by money, but these personalities do love to spend it, and will often be first in the queue for a shopping spree. They also have a passion for nice clothes, and can be a little frivolous with their spending here. These individuals like to look smart and well-groomed, and may take ages getting ready in the morning.

The endearing and kind side of a Taurus Sheep's characteristics is uncovered when they are in soulmate relationships. Even though they are independent and not openly sensitive, when they are with a long-term partner this self-sufficiency will diminish somewhat. They will never be fully dependent on another person, but they come close to it in long-term personal partnerships. They will be thoughtful, attentive, appreciative and passionate, but may shy away from commitment sometimes. A Taurus Sheep does not like to rush anything, especially emotional things, and will need to be absolutely certain before they commit to another.

The Sheep's presence in these personalities is possibly partly responsible for their weakness. The Taurus Sheep is prone to occasional bouts of anxiety and laziness. This personality failing is usually different in each individual Taurus Sheep. Some will be inclined to get anxious, some lazy, and some with be liable to be both, or neither. These negative aspects to this personality can be minimized, if they exist. Stress levels can be kept to a minimum, and idle episodes can be discouraged. If this way of thinking is adhered to, this weakness will rarely put in an appearance.

I am also a Taurus Ram. The description is fair to me. We are calm, patient, collected, and self-sufficient, we are also persistent (not stubborn!). Our family is our backbone. There are so few things that could possibly irritate me. What we really do not like-is rushing!

Carrie, only just read your comment now - apologies. I would say all the description is true, for me, especially about being calm & collected. I don't feel I am lazy but it's more that I take time with things and often think about things too much. I would have liked to have had my second baby in the year of the sheep but I think time is running out :) Would be nice to hear from you again.

Hi Helen,

Are you a Taurus Ram? Can you tell me which part of the personality is most true and which doesn't really apply to you much? We're planning on having a baby next year (year of the Sheep) and we're just interesting in the personalities of the different Sheeps. If you have the time, I would love to hear more from you. Thank you.
