Dream Dictionary Braces

Dreaming that you have braces on suggests that you have a desire to see things more straight in your life. Some things are just very confusing to you and are giving you grief when you try too hard to think about them. Basically, things just aren't going your way, and you want to straighten out the rough edges to make things a little bit easier for yourself and for everyone around you that might be suffering from the same problem. To dream that you have on braces means that you need things to be more clear for you.

Sometimes a dream in which you are wearing braces suggests that you feel constrained by something. Despite your best efforts, something is holding you back and it is affecting the way that you live your life. However, this thing is self imposed as the braces would suggest. Nobody wants to get braces, and when they do, half of the people that get them still hate them and don't want the braces anywhere near them even though they have to wear them. The braces act as a physical constraint in the sense that many people don't find the people that wear them to be very attractive.

At the same time they are also a social constraint. It makes it harder for people to talk to you in general because of the speech impediment that they bring but because it makes people so unattractive they are also associated with nerdiness or braininess which further alienates people from the cool kids. If you can't make friends with the cool kids then how do you expect to get any respect in life at all? Anyway, because these are all such prominent constraints, to dream that you have braces on means that you see yourself has having similar constraints in your life. There does not have to be an actual physical constraint like braces are, it could be something more figurative, but all the same, it exists, and you should mind it.

If you have a dream that you are wearing braces it could also mean that you are feeling more mature. Similar to the interpretation of constraints, the constraints that you feel when you wear these braces are generally things like childcare, marriage, and other adult worries that you might have to deal with in life. These are all adult responsibilities that make sure that you are on the ball and a well integrated member of society. Despite the fact that these constraints prevent you from exercising your dreams and going out and living life the way you want to, they also build character. If you were able to do whatever you want whenever you wanted, you would be an incredibly spoiled individual. The fact that you have so much on your plate makes you more mature even if the fact that you are wearing braces in your dreams makes you feel automatically less mature. Don't believe that you are any less deserving of respect than anyone else.
