Dream Drowning cat, Drowning Kittens
Dream Dictionary Drowning cat, Drowning Kittens, The Definition of a Dream In Which You Are Drowning cat, Drowning Kittens

Of course to see drowning cats or drowning kittens would then have great significance since they are rarely seen in these sorts of situations. As a dream symbol this carries with it some intense logic that must be sorted through to be understood.

If you have a dream in which you see a drowning cat, this might mean that you feel like your sense of independence is being suffocated by someone else, or that your sense of independence is being challenged by someone else and their dependence on you. A cat is a symbol of independence and self reliability. Water is something that is associated with emotion, so to dream of a cat drowning means that your sense of individuality and independence is being stifled by someone else getting all up in your business. Maybe someone in your life has been monopolizing your time too much because they have been sad recently. Sometimes all you need to do is just pull up your bootstraps and make sure that they know that you need your own time. You need to be able to have your own life and as much as you might want to help them and as much as they need you to help them, you can only help so much before their emotions start to wear you out too.

Kittens are known for their sense of playfulness and their sense of innocence. If you have a dream in which you are drowning kittens then this means that something has happened recently which has put you in a very serious mood, and you are not receptive to the antics of others. You are done with the whole debacle and you are ready to get down to the part of it that really matters. Do away with all of the frills and the playfulness and get right to business in your future conversations; this is what will make you feel better.

I had a very disturbing dream of a kitten in a large tank by itself with snorkel on. It was swimming near the top so it was getting air. I left the room and came back and the kitten was at the bottom of the tank with the snorkel on, but it wasn't moving. I turned my head and my bf was standing next to me. And I said we have to get the kitten out. And he looked very sad and said it's too late. I started crying saying it's my fault and I woke up. I still feel disturbed and uneasy. I wish I knew what it meant.

In my dream I'm on a pier and it's dark, the lake water is really calm and inky. Next thing I know my two kittens come running behind me chased by my mother's kitten and they jump into the lake before I can stop them. Without hesitation I jump in after them, loosing my glasses as I reach for them. They are fine in the end.
Was very disturbing

I'm another one who had a dream of 3 gray kittens inside a small fish tank... They weren't drowning, but hardly had any room.

Had a dream that I was holding newborn kittens under the water to die. I knew it was not something I wanted to do but Iím my dream it was necessary.

I just woke up from a disturbing dream where I was watching these people from another country put kittens into metal like tubes and strap them to their legs. They then got into a lake and were using them as bait for some kind of fishing. The people were all afraid of 'their boss' who wouldn't let them out of the water too soon. When they DID let them out I ran over to the tubes and emptied the kittens out. Some were ok, some were bloody and injured. Some were not moving at all. They were so small and tiny. I wanted to saved them, but only one I could take. I woke up then.

Same exact dream. But mine had several kittens. I even took some crawling out back in there because I thought they will be safer. They were like hippos who can stay in water but eventually get air after a time. But they weren't drowning in the fish tank. Some were sleeping.

Are you in a challenging time of your life right now?

I had a very similar dream and it made me uneasy. I had a fish tank full of sickly fish, and a large black cat living in the tank. He wasn't drowning. I knew he didn't belong in water so I tried to get him out, but then gave up because I was afraid he'd been in there so long that maybe he couldn't live outside the tank. I still feel bad for the cat in this dream.

My mother had the same dream except it was one cat sitting in an aquarium filled with water with fish inside. That's what led me here, I thought there was a response to your dream. We're puzzled by it because cats hate water and love fish. Strange.

I had a dream that a bunch of kids laid a cat on a dog and said it's time for u guys to go to heaven then started drowning them in a lake. I tried to save them but we're too many people and then I woke up. Been haunting me ever since. Anyone know if it could mean something. I'm a cat lover and have been saving cats for years.

(I'm not a dream expert but I'm just guessing)

I had a dream I brought home a little blue Himalayan cat because it was lost , but then somewhere inside of me I knew I couldn't keep it , it was revolting , I went to check on it and it look like it was dying .. Then input a pit of water on and it started to boil ; then the kitten got it in and boiled to death and somewhere in me I was relieved but then it came back to life and then I was horrified I didn't do anything to save it .. Then of course I woke screaming and swearing and feeling ill ??

Still feel dreadful

I just dreamed it was winter,I was walking back home and could hear a muffled cat cry. Close to me was a small muddy river and I saw an adult white cat drowning in the sludgy water. I jumped in. It was very shallow. Pulled the cat out and half of his skin was gone exposing his rib cage and intestines. I pushed on the exposed ribs a couple of times and the cat breathed. I phoned a vet but for some reason didn't go with the cat. But then I was back in the house and the cat was there. Can anyone tell me what this means please?

I had a dream last night that I was drowning a white cat with my own hands but, at the last minute, I let it up and it lived. Not sure what it means?

In my dream, I was in a bathroom full of cats and kittens. I drowned many of the kittens by throwing them in a tub of water to see if they would swim out and I ended up pulling them out of the water (still alive). I look back in the tub and the kittens lay at the bottom. So I pull them out, pat their back, and they come back to life. Does this mean I canceled the kitten drowning dream interpretation?

Wow, I had a somewhat similar dream, only it was just one cat and it jumped in the toilet right when I was flushing it and it got flushed down. I stood there wondering if I should help the cat, but for some reason didn't want to make the effort so I let it disappear down the drain. But then the cat crawled back out. When it stuck it's head out I felt bad and yanked it all the way out, then dried it off and it was fine. But I felt a sense of guilt and didn't want others to know that I almost let it drown.

I had a dream last night that I was walking with a couple and their lttle gray kitten decided to jump in the river. The woman was trying to save him , but she could not so I jumped in the river which was shallow & clear ( and I have serious water fears) & grabbed the kitten. He was soaking wet & unresponsive. I started pressing his chest with two fingers, he fit in the palm of my hand. Finally he coughed up cleat water and opened up his eyes. I handed him back to his owner. The whole time I was holding him, there was clear water all around him, until he revived...any ideas on this?

No, it means someone keeps on trying to challenge ur independence or ur independence is being suffocated by someone else.

Like Nina, i also saved a cat from drowning.. more specifically, it was MY cat, in a little plastic container of stagnant water, and when i saw him i assumed him to be dead already. I screamed and cried in horror, which made my dad come from his room to the kitchen where i found him. it wasn't until i picked it up to hug it that my dad said that the cat moved moved. so i performed a Heimlich maneuvor on him and he coughed out some water, but the liquid that came out of his mouth was red and murky.
After, i set him down and looked at the discolored water. then i looked back and my cat was a kitten.
More information that might be useful, the cat was a gift from my ex girlfriend which i still loved for some time after she left, and the night before i had a dream that she was in my arms, as if nothing ever happened. I believe that those two dreams were somehow connected, because i sometimes feel like the love i have for the cat is somehow the same love that i used to have for my ex, she meant a lot to me and i can't really say i am completely over it yet, i believe these two are connected.

I saved a colorful drowning kitten from a water barrel. A teenage boy dropped the small kitten in water barrel before I quickly save the kitten. After I save it I come back to the water barrel to see any kitten or anything. I found a stick with white drag.
