Dream interpretation Pregnant, Pregnancy

In real life, a dream of being pregnant can evoke all kinds of feelings. You may even find that a baby may be welcome at one point in your life, but not so welcome at a different time. In a similar way, when it comes to interpreting dreams of being pregnant, you must also evaluate the general mood, as well as any indicators about the progression of the pregnancy itself.

General Dream Meaning: Pregnant and Pregnancy

Typically, the meaning of a pregnancy dream depends on your gender. If you male, and dream of pregnancy, it means that you will be well served by toning down your sexual exploits. If you are a woman, this dream can mean coming financial abundance or great happiness.

A dream of being pregnant may also symbolize some type of growth or development. You may also be on the verge of giving "birth" to a new idea, or embarking on some new adventure that will change your life. If you dream of giving birth to a non-human baby, or you dream of trying to get pregnant, it may also mean that you have anxieties about new responsibilities that may come up in the near future.

How Dream Symbol Pregnant and Pregnancy May Fit in Your Life

As with any other dream symbol, you need to start off by thinking about whether or not something occurred during the day, or even the last few days that may have been nagging at the back of your mind. Is a friend of yours pregnant or trying to conceive? Are you secretly concerned about becoming pregnant yourself? Did you watch a movie, the news, or encounter some other information about pregnancy?

Once you have ruled out waking associations, it is time to look to your inner landscape. If you are a male, perhaps you need to look more carefully at a relationship that you are in, or an involvement that looks appealing. At the very least, if you are not necessarily interested in committing to the woman in question, then you might want to take a step back and make sure you understand what her intentions are. Needless to say, if you are a woman and have this dream, you may want to keep an eye out for some new opportunities to expand your financial wealth.

A Sample Dream and Pregnancy Dream Interpretation

Consider a situation where you are a woman and dream that you just learned of being pregnant. In the dream, you are very disturbed because the date seems sooner than you anticipated. As the dream progresses, you decide to go for a walk in a beautiful field. At that point, the dream shifts and you return home; but are no longer pregnant. For some reason, you are not disturbed by the fact that the dream shifted, or the nature of the change.

Even though pregnancy may be an auspicious dream symbol for women, the distress in the dream should be a clear indicator that it may not be so in your case. Among other things, you may interpret this dream to mean that an opportunity for wealth may come along, but it may be difficult for you to take advantage of. For example, you might have to move, leave a job that you like for one that you will not enjoy, or the opportunity will cause other problems in your life. Since the dream ended without you begin disturbed by the pregnancy being gone, you may conclude that you will not take advantage of the opportunity, and will most likely be relieved that you made the choice to let it go.

I once had a dream that I was pregnant. I don't know how long I was into the pregnancy though. I was indecisive on which method to deliver my baby: natural birth -and maybe an epidural if it's too painful or elected c-section. My doctor seems to be in another country, as I had to call him and see him through a webcam. He explained the pros and cons to natural birth, but I felt that a natural labour would be more to my disadvantage; possibly because he was not even in the same room as me, so if something were to happen, he wouldn't be able to help me. I was anxious and instantly chose a c-section instead, where the doctor would help me electronically. I never saw the birth of my child.
I'm definitely not pregnant now. But I want to be a mother when I get older, preferably during the right time. I think the problem has always been my indecisiveness. Natural labour has alway made more sense, but I'm not keen on the pain; I've always disliked and avoided pain as much as possible. But if I use an epidural, I fear that there would be side effects that would affect my health -and leave marks on my back- and would make my hospitality longer in comparison to a natural labour without an epidural. A c-section would not give me pain during the process, but logically, I don't think it should be done without a need to. I interpret this dream as fearing the pain of labour, but not knowing which option would suit me best. And the doctor being faraway makes me feel even more helpless. The doctor indirectly chose my option for me, even though it was my last option... I want to be pregnant, but the indecisiveness is giving me a headache. In my dream, I don't appear to have a partner either. I think it indicates that I chose to be a single mother artificially. But the life I chose seems lonelier than I imagined.

I had a dream that was "Animated" versions of a woman being led to a river, gently cared for and laid down by the water to give birth... she then turns to me and tells me of being visited by a being with "teeth madeof Bay leaves".. then the dream started over with a different woman in a different country but exactly the same scene-- it happened at least 6 times. ????? I did not know that Bay leaf can cause miscarriage, is used to whiten teeth and to inspire psychic dreams... so- any clues WHAT this was all about?? I really felt it was important when I woke up.

Initially in my dream I was on my period, as I actually am right now. Then suddenly I was pregnant. I don't know who the father is and nor did I even think about that in the dream. At one point I showed someone my belly and we were able to see the baby inside, like my belly was for just that moment see through, a bubble or something. And the baby was laying fully clothed on it's back looking up at us happily. I knew I was hoing to guve birth because my belly had "fallen"....like the bump was now just in my lower abdomin. I felt no pain. There wasn't a labor "scene"...the next yhing was just that it was born. But it was born in half. Like the right side and the left side. They weren't ever together in one room. We were going to have surgery done to sew them together. I can't remember clearly but I think the surgery was done and it looked weird, like there was an extra "piece" in the middle. That each side was sewn to that middle piece.....
This dream is very crazy and my first dream of pregnancy, that i remember.....i do t usually remember my dreams. Can you give an idea of what this could mean?

I just awoke. I am MALE and had a dream of being pregnant. I was with 2 doctors,a male and female. They were seemingly calm. I was having anxiety about how they were going to take the baby out of me. I didn't want to lose the baby. I told them that I came to them earlier, days or months, with the thought that I was pregnant, and they didn't do anything for me. I was there now ready to give birth. They were unusually calm. What does this all mean. I am single and not promiscuous.

I dreamt i as pregnant last night in a country that was at war. A young boy was helping me. He was either Afghanistan or something like that. He was so caring to me. I was in agony and holding my very rigid pregnant tummy and i was bleeding out very badly. I was screaming for my Dad. My Dad passed away 19 years ago. I only wanted him to do the operation. My Dad was never a doctor. I was screaming so much and he said he needed to fix a friends car first.....he was driven to me very fast in some sort of vehicle but then i woke up myself up with the crying....Wot on earth does my dream mean.....In no way can i be pregnant either in real life.x
