Natalie Imbruglia

One of Australia's most popular singer, songwriter and models is Natalie Jane Imbruglia. She was born February 4, 1975 and was famous as Beth Brennan in the Australian opera Neighbours. She landed a singing career when she left the soap Neighbours and landed an international hit with her single Torn.

Left of the Middle in 1997 was Natalie's shining accomplishment and she sold six million copies globally. White Lilies Island and Counting Down the Days in 2005 have not matched the commercial success of her first album. She finally hit #23 in the UK Singles Chart with Glorious: the Singles 97-07.

Natalie Latest album Come to Live 2009 is not exactly her highest accomplishment. With her singing career a bit on the down level she turned to films. In 2003 Natalie starred in the film Johnny English and had the leading role in Closed for Winter (2000).

From 2009 until 2010 Natalie wrote and produced Come to Life. It had no success in either the UK or Australia and there is not mention of this album on the internet. Natalie was picked to be a judge on the British The X Factor and mentored the under 25 girls category. However in March 2011, Natalie Imbuglia was not chosen to return as a judge.

Natalie married Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns in Port Douglas Australia on New Year's Eve in 2003. However due to Natalie living in the UK and Daniel living in Australia they did not remain married and divorced in 2008.
Natalie is an ambassador for Virgin United and supports campaigns to end poverty. She speaks publically about her clinical depression disorder and also supports breast cancer campaigns.
