Robert John Wagner, born on February 10, 1930 always wanted to be an actor. When dining with his parents at a restaurant in Beverly Hills, Wagner was spotted by a talent scout. He made his first screen debut in The Happy Years (1950 ?€“ non-credited) and signed by 20th Century Fox. He was always the romantic lead because of his good lucks and charismatic manners. With a Song in My Heart (1952) proved that Wagner was more than a ?€?pretty-boy?€?. He played the lead roles in Prince Valiant in 1954 and The True Story of Jesse James in 1957. In A Kiss before Dying in 1956 Wagner was a cold blooded murderer. Wagner did not make movies the first part of the 1960s until The Pink Panther in 1963. He then was unemployed until he stared in the espionage comedy series It Takes a Thief 1968- 1970. He starred in Switch (1975), and played in the trendy television series Hart to Hart with Stefanie Powers. This series ran from 1979 through 1984 and made Wagner a household name. Wagner is considered a gentleman in Hollywood terms. He has been successful in stage and success playing Number 2 in the Austin Powers Trilogy (1997). He was Teddy on Two and a Half Men in 2003. Wagner has been married four times. Once to Jill St. John (still married) twice to Natalie Wood (one child together) and once to Marion Marshall (one child). Wagner and St. John have appeared in Banning in 1967, How I Spent My Summer Vacation in1967, Around the World in 80 Days in 1989 and Seinfeld in 1989. Wagner has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his motion pictures.
