Born Carlos Ray Norris on March 10, 1940 in Oklahoma, Chuck Norris?€™s career spans decades and he has been the executive producer of Walker, Texas Ranger, 1993 as well as the star of the show. His career includes The Hitman in 1991, The Delta Force in 1986 and Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection in 1990. He starred in Missing Action in 1984 and Firewalker in 1986. He was in Sidekicks in 1992. Norris joined the Air Force after high school graduation. During an assignment in Korea he started to study Tang Soo Do. He worked for Northrop Aviation and was a karate instructor. Norris attained the professional World Middleweight Karate Champion status in 1968 and in 1969 Norris was awarded the Triple Crown his many tournament wins. Norris established 32 karate schools and in 1996 was the first Westerner awarded an eighth-degree black belt in Tae Kwan Do. Norris has authored The Secret of Inner Strength and The Secret Power Within ?€“ Zen Solutions to Real Problems. He works for charities including Veterans Administration National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans, The United Way and Make-a-Wish Foundation. He is also involved in the nonprofit KickStart. Norris usually plays heroes and prefers peace to fighting. He has incredible physical strength and a calm voice. You can always recognize Norris by his trademark beard. You can see Norris in The Expendables 2. Norris was married to Diane Holecheck from 1958 until 1989 and they have two children. He is currently married to Gena O?€™Kelly (1998) and they also have two children.
