Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius

Mercury planet of understanding and perception will be back tracking for the next few weeks. On December 13 th, 2011 it will start to move forward and by the 1st of January 2012, will return to its original position. This percieved shift backward relates to an actual shift in our perception as well. With all this happening in expansive, truth seeking Sagittarius, you may have some wonderful surprises in the next few weeks. Inspired life changing ideas are very much available. You can see life from an entirely different perspective.

Mercury does a backward trek every three months for three weeks. There can be mix-ups in communication, misunderstandings, missed appointments and delays in transit. Ultimately pointing you in another direction- one that might need reconsidering. There can also be connections with old friends or a revisiting of the past three month cycle. Or all of the above.

Be prepared for delays while you are in the every day hustle and bustle of life; traffic, line-ups of any kind. Have a thermos of tea and a good book or a journal available for capturing ideas. Take time to let your mind wander. With all our fantastic technology we are in a constant state of stimulation. Take time for some lying around. An afternoon in bed planning a trip abroad, or even just to the library. Taking time to Reflect is a really good use of this energy. In fact, any 'Re' you can think of would be beneficial in the next three weeks: Redo, re-decorate, re-vise, re-member, re-create, re-alize, replace, remove -you get the point.

Be careful buying electronics and signing contracts- things may not be as they seem. Be receptive to new ideas that are actually old ideas- it might be the time for some long forgotten dream to make an appearance so you can re-energize it with intention. Enjoy this time of new angles on old things and you will come through this season of retrograde mercury completely renewed.
