April 2020 Monthly Horoscope for Cancer

Cancer, you need to take some time for the number one person in the universe. Who is that, you ask? Oh honey, you know it’s you, whether you want to believe it or not. If there was a theme to the month of April for you, it would be “self-care”. This is the time for you to do all the tune-ups and work on you that you’ve delayed doing for too long. It’s time to bring the car into the shop and remind yourself that you’re not a Yugo, you’re a Porsche. Get your oil changed, lube adjusted, and wheels aligned so you can show yourself off to the world.

If it’s at all possible, take a day off from work during the first week in April. If for any reason it’s not possible, read on and at least make plans for yourself for after a workday where you can unplug and relax (and also start thinking about finding another job where it’s more possible to take a day off here and there). Get that time off in some form or another and truly unplug - no phone, no computer, nothing. If you’re so inclined, pour yourself a glass of wine and treat yourself like a queen. You need that moment of slowing down and resetting. When you do return to work the next day, remember how you felt at that moment of decompressing and how powerful you are. You’re going to take that power with you to work for the rest of the month because it might get stressful.

How stressful? Your workplace is going to experience some changes in April. These could take many forms, but you need to expect things to get a little crazy here and there. Luckily, you’re going to remember from your decompression time how powerful you are and use that energy to charge you through. And you’re also going to evaluate all the craziness around you and ask: do I want to be here? You might decide no and then it’s time to move on. Channel your inner Beyonce and recognize that you have other realms to rule. Look for things to really hit the fan at your job on or around the 18th. If it’s too much to handle, get that resume ready.

Luckily you’re looking at a very potentially lucrative month for you. The means are there for you to start making more money if you’re thoughtful and paying attention. The stars are hazy on this front (but you know they never like to make things too easy for you), but around the second week of April, there will be some fantastic opportunities that will be presenting themselves to you. Here’s the rub: they’re going to present themselves in cryptic and often hidden ways. That doesn’t sound much like “presenting itself”, does it? Think of it this way: sometimes the best treasures hide in plain sight. There may be amazing opportunities for growth and wealth that are sitting in front of your face right now even as we speak. This could be a skill you have that you haven’t yet found a way to monetize. Or maybe a friend has a business that it turns out would be perfect for you to work in. Or maybe you’re the one with the fantastic business idea that you never thought would be possible. You don’t need to put all of your savings into any wild scheme at this time, but you do need to keep your eyes open and see what’s possible. And lest you think we’re just talking about financial responsibility, you might also want to play the lottery, especially on the 12th.

The most important person in the universe has been neglected lately and that’s just not right. Oh, it’s easy to do, Cancer. We get it. You get busy and one thing happens after another. But now is the time to set that right and give yourself the attention you richly deserve. You have kingdoms to rule from May onward and you need to make sure your crown is ready. Treat yourself like the royalty you are, Cancer, and show the world how utterly magnificent and fabulous you are.
