We’ll make this short and to the point, Leo. Get yourself to your doctor! Now! Well, wait until after you finish reading this, but then make that appointment. This isn’t to alarm you and suggest that we know terrible things about your health, but it is to prompt you to start taking your health a bit more seriously. 2021 is the year in which you are going to acknowledge that: yes, you are getting older. Springtime of 2021 is when you’re going to want to get smarter about your health. It’s time to do a bit of research. We’re guessing you don’t know the difference between good and bad cholesterol, or what a complex sugar is. Get yourself online, to the library, and in front of some experts. Time to make that appointment with nutritionists, trainers, and all-around knowledgeable people. It’s not just your body you’re going to get smarter about. It’s time for you to boost up your science fundamentals.

And if you don’t have a solid exercise program already, Leo, get one going by early June. You can start planning for it before then, but you need to get a regular bit of movement happening by then. This doesn’t have to be anything crazy, but it’s important you start. In fact, you’re going to get connected with a number of other people in a similar situation as you at this time. This could be a local running group, a dodge ball team looking for new members, or just a bunch of supportive friends rooting each other on. Take them up on the help and support. Anything that gets you sticking with that program is a good thing.

Sometimes the best thing for your health is getting away. Plan some sort of trip away from your usual haunts in September, ideally around the 10th or so. You don’t have to go far, but you need to go somewhere new to you and ideally with limited computer and phone time. While this is for relaxing, you need to make sure you keep your exercise up during the trip. You’re going to reach a fantastic health milestone at this time and it’s worth celebrating.

It’s always better to live with knowledge than with ignorance. It’s the unknown that keeps us up at night, terrified and anxious. Facing facts about your health and age are crucial for reducing your stress and making sure you are the most productive and happy that you can be. Embrace your age! You are a powerful creature and supported by the most powerful forces in the universe. You can face life with all the vim and vigor of a twenty-year-old, albeit with much more experience and wisdom.
