Virgo season is here, and as the Sun transits this mercurial sign, we are all called to make hard assessments and get to work. Being straight to the point, September is a month where we have to chase what we want independently as external help may be scarce or unreliable. People who are usually seen as meek and powerless may begin to grow tired of being caught under that light. Consequently, power issues may be at the forefront of the month's themes, as some will be fighting vigorously for their autonomy. Co-dependent relationships, Energy Vampires, and Opportunists will be easily visible, making it much easier for us to purge these inconvenient archetypes out of our lives. There may be some bumps in the road as we navigate this month. Yet, if we take action to step back from what we don't want, we will come out much more confident in our ability to fend for ourselves on the other side.
Through the first few days of the month, Mars and Neptune will be opposite in Virgo and Pisces, respectively. This transit is a good sign of completion and recovery from issues preceding this month. Still, we must collectively strike a balance between doing and dreaming for these two planets to work in unison. Even if these planets are pushing towards the completion of a cycle, they want to know what we will do next. There is a strong need for direction and focus. Fantasizing about what could be is an excellent way of discovering what is possible, but nothing will ever be concrete if none of that gets past the realm of imagination. In this scenario, Mars seems to get tired of Neptune's escapist and dreamy nature and urges the outer-planet to get up and do something. However, in all this complaining, the warrior planet wastes his own time worrying about what his partner is not doing. To break this cycle of pointing fingers, we must channel our inner Mars' and just do what needs to be done by synthesizing Neptune's ideas with the red planet's thirst for action.
From September 2nd to the 11th, the Black Moon Lilith and the North Node will be conjunct while interacting with Saturn and Mercury through a trine. This is quite a complicated transit, but the call for action is very straightforward. Both Lilith and the North Node are points in the Moon's orbit and therefore are closely linked to our emotions. While the North Node represents our motivators and the karma that we must balance, Lilith symbolizes the repressed and nonconforming side of ourselves that we keep hidden from the world. This conjunction points at the liberation from societal pressures to adhere to a certain standard. Especially with the Saturn and Mercury trine getting involved in the mix, questioning our own definition of the truth is imminent. This transit denotes that we must be the only ones defining the meaning and purpose of our lives. Anything that we have embraced as our reality because someone told us "that's just the way things are" will simply not suffice. Lilith compels us to make our definition of existence solely experiential. This great-trine is also happening in all the three air signs, indicating this will be a period of introspection, realizations and education.
The Virgo New Moon of September 6th keeps up with the individualistic theme as it trines with Uranus in Taurus. This lunation supports us in owning the quirks that set us apart from the rest of the world. Our own "weirdness" often enables us to provide the world with unique abilities that, in many ways, make the globe a better place for everyone. Repressing these qualities to fit in, then, becomes a significant impediment to our collective evolution.
The Full Moon in Pisces will have a Neptunian influence as both will be in the fantastic sign. This is a time to recollect yourself and explore possibilities beyond the current paradigm of what is real. This will open a portal to our subconscious, and consequently, a lot of our inner ghosts will face us head-on. This is not a time to be afraid of the mysteries, but to embrace them as it will provide many answers for the whole world to make sense of all the trials and tribulations we have faced thus far. This is a time for a great reset as our consciousness is unified by the light of the Moon.
