Work Horoscope 2021 Cancer
The 2021 year of the Ox is going to be an odd year for you, Cancer, regarding your career. Your role model for 2021 is an unlikely one, but hear us out. It’s Captain America. Yes, that’s right: the Marvel superhero. You will emerge into this year like you’ve just awakened from a sixty-year coma. Everything will be a little weird, a little strange, but you’ll slowly adjust and find your bearings. And in doing so, you’ll become a hero and an inspiration to everyone around you. Sounds like a great story that will do a fantastic box office. Avengers assemble!
And you’re going to come out of the gate as a superhero, bursting through walls and taking on evildoers. Well, maybe not to that extreme (unless your job is, in fact, superhero. Thank you for your service.), but you are going to surprise your boss with an extreme amount of work. You’re going to be a powerhouse during this month, taking on project after project. Clear away a couple of your weekends to work extra. Don’t worry: this schedule isn’t going to last forever. You just want to have a strong start to the year and to get a feel for how much of this you’re willing to put up with.
Luckily February and March 2021 are going to have you cool down considerably. Think of this time as being like the cool-down period at the gym: you’ve busted your ass, raised your heart rate, now you’re going to walk on the treadmill for a while. Still moving , still sweating, but all at a slower pace. And during this slower pace, you’re going to look around where you work. Look at the other people, look at your boss, all of it. What do you see? Are these people you admire? Is this where you want your life to be? Are you hitting the goals you’d hoped to? Ask yourself these questions and keep a note of them. As you can imagine, you’ll be coming back to them later.
Luckily summer 2021 is when this superhero pace is going to slow down considerably. Don’t worry, you’re still be kicking asses and taking names, but you’re also going to scale yourself down a bit so you can breathe and take in your surroundings. In fact, you’re going to spend a good part of July being Captain America at a coffee shop. You’ll put the shield on the chair next to you, take your mask off, and sit with a cup of coffee watching the sunshine outside your window. The Red Skull can wait another day (or month). People are noticing what a hotshot you are by this point and you’ll have prospective employers curious about who you are. Let them wait a bit. This is your time. This is the time for you to reflect and gather yourself together. Anyone who is interested in hiring you will be interested still in a few months, so don’t feel you always have to put yourself out there. You’ve got this, Captain. Drink up.
You don’t need to hang up Captain America’s shield when December comes. The option is there for you to continue using him as a role model as you go into next year. Whatever you choose, you’ll have made substantial changes that show that you’re an employee that’s important and worth keeping around. The effects of that are not going away any time soon. Everyone needs a hero, even in the workplace. You’ve served as that hero for a while now and given inspiration to others. We thank you mightily for your service.
