Health Horoscope 2021 Scorpio
Whenever you think of ‘health’, we’re imagining you imagine pushups, crunches, and eating lots of kale. While those things CAN be part of good health, they’re not the only part of the picture. Some of what it involves is the fun stuff: like massages, makeovers, and time off. That’s the sort of health you’re really going to want to concentrate on in 2021, Scorpio. We’re sure this doesn’t take a ton of arm-twisting on our part. But here’s the catch: you need to do those things in a way that maximizes the amount of value you get out of them.
You’d think we’d say you should take January off, Scorpio, and have you start that whole relaxing, self-care thing right out of the gate. Unfortunately, no. The stars have a very different plan for you. They want you to work extra hard in the first month of 2021. We know, we know…..not what you were hoping for, but this is going to set you in good stead for a year of self-health. Plus that means you’ll appreciate February that much more. Take on extra work if you can, work overtime, even take on some sort of side hustle if you can….anything to pull in some extra cash.
But luckily that means February is the time to relax. Ahh Scorpio, you’re in luck. Although it’s the shortest month of the year - and one at the nadir of winter’s cold and greyness - you’re going to use it to go full tilt into self-care mode. Set up a massage appointment and make it monthly for the rest of the year. Find some sort of day spa and set up an appointment for that this month. Go and get your hair cut. You know those chair massagers they have at the mall? Go and spend some time in one of those. Go to the grocery store and fill your cupboards with the food you love. This is when you’re going to start the self-care ball rolling.
Lest you think that means you’re going to be lazy this whole year, lying on the couch eating bon bons, late spring is when that self-care is going to refer to moving your body around a bit. If you’re not currently physically active, this is when you’ll start a proper exercise routine. If you need to enlist a professional to help you with this (and we’d advise that), do so, especially around the second week in April. You don’t have to come bursting out running marathons right away. In fact, you really want to take a ‘couch to 5K’ approach to it. Get yourself moving slowly, but constantly. And if you are currently physically active, congratulations! This is the time you’re going to reassess your physical routine and see what’s working for you and what isn’t. Again, if you need a professional, don’t forgo the help they can provide. May 2nd will be a pivotal date for you to meet some sort of physical challenge.
That’s a good year of taking care of yourself, Scorpio. When you hear it that way, doesn’t that sound like the perfect definition of ‘health’? There’s nothing wrong with making sure you’re in good mental, emotional, and spiritual shape. The body follows from there. Take the experiences from 2021 with you moving forward and remember what it feels like to truly care about *you* and not reduce your efforts to mere ‘pampering’. You need to make sure you’re in excellent shape to face next year and beyond for a long time to come.
