For the last couple of years, Virgo and the other mutable signs have had activities run a lot smoother in contrast to their fixed and cardinal counterparts. This is especially true if you're reading this horoscope for your Ascendant instead of the Sun sign.

This year Saturn will move out of his slow 2.5 year-long transit in your 6th house of hard work, employees and toilsome routine. As much as this transit has the room for being a little troublesome for one's health —since we all know that overwork and stress can be a sure-fire way to get into some physical or mental stability— the benefits for one's career are unquestionable. And this is even more remarkable if you have any planet in your 10th house natally (bonus points if it's Jupiter).

Now that that's out of the way, the big challenge here will be making the connections you need to take you to the next level. There's really only so much you can do on your own, so it's time to delegate some tasks away and open room for a new routine. However, with Saturn entering your 7th house of partnerships, this can become somewhat tricky.

Saturn in this place for you can make your business partners somewhat over-idealistic and stubborn. They might frequently contest your opinions and even leave you running dry altogether. And this is mainly because, in your 7th house, Saturn becomes colder than the ringed planet already is, making emotional connection almost impossible to attain. For that very reason, this year you want to try and polish your presentation skills so you can communicate your ideas in a way that appeals to almost everybody. On the other hand, 2023 is far from just toil and annoying subordinates and partners. As soon as May comes around, things are likely to smooth out significantly.

Despite the month starting on the tail end of a Mercury retrograde, as soon as Mercury starts moving forward again on the 15th of that month, Jupiter will tag along in your 9th house of education and higher knowledge, where he will stay for the whole rest of the year and even a bit of 2024.

Any classes on communication skills can be super valuable at around that time. Another alternative would be to embrace Jupiter's natural spiritual inkling and try to bring some spirituality or mindfulness to your business. On the other hand, one of the other major topics of the 9th house is travel, so a vacation wouldn't hurt. You've been working pretty hard for the last few years, so you deserve to treat yourself a little and go on a grand adventure somewhere where no one can oppose your great ideas irrationally.

Without sugar-coating it, 2023 can be somewhat of a drag for Virgo. A lack of collaboration can be tough for a sign which more often than not seeks to serve and help others whether they're deserving of it or not. So take this time to think more about yourself, learn something new and establish a more solid level of independence.
