Overview of 2021 Astrological events that are vital for the fate of the Zodiac sign Virgo during the course of the White Metal Ox Year
You’ve come through 2020 swinging your sword left and right, laying waste to anyone who gets in your way. Like a great Viking making his way across Europe, you, Virgo, have been a conqueror. And what have you conquered? It’s been different things for different Virgos. Some of you have finally gotten the respect you deserve at your job. Some of you have finally found the love you’ve been seeking for ages. But for all of you, you’ve made the strides you’ve needed to get what you want. So where can you go from there?
Just like a Viking warrior after the battles, 2021 is about setting up your kingdom. You’ve accumulated great tracts of land and know you need to build your castle and protect your fiefdom. It’s time to draw up plans for stone walls, start to till the soil, and prepare your domain to become a great ruling (but benevolent) nation. So you’re going to survey all that’s around you in the first week of January and see where you need to begin. Contrary to most astrological advice, we’re going to say this is really up to you? Need to improve your love life? Make more money? Connect more with friends? Find a better job? Just fix that fence in the backyard? You’re the one to make the call, Virgo, as to where to start swinging.
Just know this as you proceed: you’re starting the year with a very powerful and active astrological house rooting for you. This means the stars support whatever decision you make, provided you stick with it and follow through. That doesn’t mean you can’t course correct if you’re headed in the wrong direction. But you do need to not bail when the going gets tough. You’re a warrior and you need to set up a kingdom worthy of you.
And every kingdom starts with a king’s home. Late January through to September is the prime time for you to make some changes when it comes to your housing. This could mean extensive remodeling or looking for a new home or apartment. You need to look and see what makes sense to you now in life for your living situation. When was the last time you made a decision about where to live? Five years ago? Ten? Even if you just moved, are you using the same criteria for a home that you used ages ago? Reassess, Virgo, and figure out what you need. Remember: you’re a warrior and warriors need a place to regroup, recharge, and be a human being for a bit. It might be time for you to get a little more space for all the treasure you’ve raided over the years. Start looking at listings around you and be prepared to sprawl a little bit. It might be time for a housing upgrade. If money is a factor, see what you could possibly do to make this happen. This is about as important an investment as you can make these days, so much so that it’ll be worth forgoing most other purchases. Sorry to delay that tropical vacation a year, but now’s the time to strike. Your dream home may become a bit more visible to you around February 16th through March 5th. Be prepared to fall in love with a house or apartment that isn’t what you expect. Keep your eyes and mind open for all sorts of living possibilities, even if they involve a substantial move. This is an exciting time, so relax and enjoy it...it’s all good change.
Every warrior needs a partner. You get no bonus points if you guess what your mission is for spring. Yes, that’s right: the time for love is especially strong for you in April and May. If you’re not currently coupled, it’s the perfect time to start looking. Even if you’ve felt like you don’t want to be doing any dating, the important word here is “looking”. You need to not only keep your eyes open for potential partners, but you need to take that keen sense of observation to all the couples you see around you. It’s time to really assess what you do and don’t want in a relationship. That includes friendships, mentorships, even family relationships. Watch the people around you in all of their pairings and see where people go wrong, but also where they go right.
If you are currently partnered, first off: congratulations. Secondly, spring is the time for renewal and you are going to adopt it as your mantra with your partner. You want to do everything you can to see them with fresh eyes. This might mean changing your routine a little bit to see them anew. Anything you can to bring a bit of energy into the dynamic is good. A perfect date night is around the 17th of April. Go for something a little out of the ordinary that night, but nothing that feels stiff and formal for you. Remember: your partner likes you for you, so if that means you both want to go skateboarding, that’s the perfect date night.
Your job is going to remain fairly placid throughout this year, but some opportunities might present themselves in early summer. We say ‘might’ because they depend on you being in the right place at the right time. And what would that place and time be? Have you been daydreaming about a job that seems impossible to get? It doesn’t even have to be a totally new occupation. Maybe it’s just enough small changes where you are now just to make it a little bit more bearable. You might have written off that possibility because you figured there’s no way such a position would fall into your lap. You’re right, Virgo. It won’t just fall into your lap, but it might be hiding from you just out of plain sight. If you haven’t been scanning job listings, start doing it in early June and make it a regular part of your routine. Read between the lines and bit and start looking in areas you wouldn’t ordinarily consider. That dream job of yours isn’t going to jump out at you. It’s going to take some detective work to find it. Don’t be afraid to apply to something that seems well outside of your wheelhouse. There’s going to be some interesting progress in this area around June 15th or so. Keep looking through July, even if you find something you like. You know what they say: you should always be looking for a job.
Money is going to follow an interesting course this year for you, Virgo. You’re going to be seeing a lot of wild ups and downs that might rock your world a bit. As best as you can, we’re going to ask you to not get too emotionally invested in that ride and keep your eye on December when you step out of the roller coaster car and onto the steady platform. January should be fairly calm, but that doesn’t mean you can be passive. Amp up your saving schedule as much as you can without depleting yourself. You’re going to make sure you’re ready for rainy days ahead. There will be some plunges coming around late March to early April. Don’t panic. We know: easier said than done, but we want you to go into the year knowing that this is going to happen in the same way you know a roller coaster is going to scare the crap out of you, and knowing is half the battle. When everything is plummeting around you, tighten your belt a bit, keep working (and maybe look into a passive side hustle of some sort), and press on as best as you can. That roller coaster is going to level off for you by August and you’ll be none the worse for wear. If you did pick up that second gig, maybe hold onto it for a bit (but go ahead and reduce your hours so you can relax a bit. It’s late summer, for crying out loud!). The rest of the year should bring you low key prosperity. You know what this means: a little bit of extra cash each week to splurge at the grocery store or a lingering bill finally going away as you make the last payment (probably around October). This year will be a good exercise for you to deal with the ups and downs of money, so enjoy the learning experience.
Let the great warrior Virgo rest and survey their land. After years of conquests and battles, you have earned the right to sit and bask in your glory. There’s nothing wrong with that. Your warrior spirit will never get soft, provided you keep your mind keen and never stop growing. We’re not worried about that happening to you, Virgo. Asking you to stop striving is like asking the wind to stop blowing. But balance it out with your newfound kingdom and enjoy the fruits of your labors.
Ah, youth… Ahh, love… They say it’s wasted on the young, and they (whoever they are) are probably right. But you’ve got a strong emotional connection to your youth, Virgo, and that’s a very good thing to have. Youth is not wasted on the old (or older…. don't worry, we’re not calling you old) and having that connection to your youth is a good way to make sure the decisions you make are the right ones for your soul. You’re going to be listening closely to that younger self in the 2021 year, particularly when it comes to matters of the heart.
January and February are going to bring some very old stirrings inside of you. There’s going to be a resonance to older emotions related to love and relationships and it’s going to be strong. This could be triggered by anything. You might find some old pictures of people you haven’t thought of in ages. Maybe it’s just going somewhere you haven’t been for a while. Maybe it’s just a lingering smell in the air. The brain is a tricky thing. Memories can be triggered by anything along these lines. Pay attention to what gets brought up to the surface. It isn’t happening randomly. That’s your brain trying to tell you something.
And those voices from the past are going to be even louder in the spring. We all know that springtime is when love is usually in the air. Birds and the bees and all that. There’s no exception for you, Virgo. What’s going to be different is that you’re going to be pining for a love that’s much larger than one human. It’s going to extend far beyond some springtime crush. You’re hearing some other forces at this time, all at a much higher celestial level. That’s the universe wanting you to find the source of love within you and bring it out for everyone to see. That’s not something you can buy flowers for, but it is something you can pay close attention to and heed when it beckons.
All this nostalgia and looking back is going to come to a head in the autumn - the perfect time for reflection. You’re going to meet a new person or group of people in the middle of September that will completely rock your world. Prepare for your worldviews to be shaken. It’s not 100% accurate to say that you’ll fall head over heels in love, but you will become incredibly curious about this person or people. They’re going to connect with you in ways you haven’t felt in a long time. Remember how your circle of friends felt when you were much younger? That’s right: this group is going to hit the same buttons. Best of all, you really won’t have to alter much of anything about yourself now. This person or people will fit into your life like they’ve been there the whole time. It’s like they’ve been waiting for you.
That version of you from ten, twenty, or thirty years ago (or longer!) is still inside of you, helping you out with the decisions that you make. While there’s no discounting the wisdom of age, it’s worth keeping that younger version of you at hand for counsel when it comes to matters of the heart. If that makes decision making confusing, that’s okay. Confusion coming from informed sources is better than simple answers from someone who knows nothing. Trust your chorus of inner voices when it comes to love. There may not be a clear answer at all times, but the decisions you make will be informed by good sources.
You hear that sound, Virgo? No, it’s not the Wells Fargo train coming down the track. It’s the opportunity and it’s making a beeline towards you this year. That’s right: 2021 is going to be your year for great success and fortune. But - and this is a big but - you’re going to have to make some substantial changes to your life in ways that might make you a bit uncomfortable. We know that you’re up to the challenge, though, and that you will make it through with flying colors. This is going to be an incredible journey for you.
January is where it all starts. You’re going to take on a project at work that maybe scares you a little and makes you uncomfortable. Discomfort is good in this situation. It means you’re growing and learning and that’s exactly what you want to do, especially in full view of your superiors. It’s okay if they see you struggle and - gasp! - fail a little bit. This is what they’re looking for in leadership for their company and you are as good a candidate for that as anyone. Make yourself known, put yourself out there, and give it your all. This is a great opportunity for you.
And speaking of opportunities, there’s going to be a fantastic one coming your way in March provided you keep your eyes open and you’re ready for it. What does that involve? It’s hard to say, but your best bet is to be open every - and we mean EVERY - idea that is presented to you. You don’t have to automatically say yes to everything, but you do need to give everything a listen. Everyone coming to you deserves your time and attention. Yes, there will be some junk in there, but there will also be a couple of gems. These could be investment opportunities. They could also just be a new way of looking at the world that will open you up to other things farther down the road. Take it in, file it away, and trust that the universe has sent you this message to run with it.
Late summer is when you hit your peak moments of transformation. Believe us, there will be a ton of stress on your job. You’ll spend a lot of time rethinking your whole career, wondering if this is what you really want to be doing with your life. Push through it as best as you can. If you need to step away for a bit to catch your breath, do so, but get right back into the game. This is your do or die moment, especially around the 17th. The rewards on the other side of this struggle are going to be tremendous, though. Enjoy them as you’ll have fought hard for them. This is going to bring you to a relatively calm September, but don’t take that as an excuse to slack off. Keep moving and working. You’re going to want to make hay while the sun shines.
The amounts of professional transformation you’ll go through in 2021 will be staggering. In December you won’t even recognize the you from a year previously. That sort of growth is a good sign of adulthood, and no matter what age you are in years, we can all use some progression towards adulthood. Take those lessons with you into the future and thrive as a powerful magnate in your field. And if where you’re standing right now it sounds ridiculous that you’d even “have” a field, well let that be a sign of your growth.
Jupiter is going to be making some interesting appearances in your life this 2021 year, Virgo. We’d like you to think of him as the Great Cosmic Banker. He’s going to be the friendly, but powerful, face that you’ll go to when you want a loan, want to save for something, or for any financial advice you might need. What does this mean in Earthly terms? It means you can trust your financial instincts when they come to you. Your gut is being guided by the largest planet in the solar system. This means you’re smarter about money than you think.
January is the perfect time to start getting your financial house in order. Make it a point in the first week of the month to record your debts, your assets, basically everything you own. You’re going to look at everything on paper in cold black and white. This is your starting point for the year., Virgo. You’re going to treat this as ground zero for your financial journey of the year. And at this time, ask yourself: do these results surprise me? Am I happy about what I’m seeing? Is it disturbing to me? The order of the day is a cold, hard reality. This is how you’ll know what you’ll want to accomplish this year.
If there’s any time to make a big purchase, Virgo, that time is going to be spring. Anything big you’ve had your eye on? A new car? Need to replace that washer and dryer? Let’s say the scale for this should be bigger than a paycheck, but not as big as buying a house. The skies are going to be shining on you in late March or early April for this. Remember that great celestial banker you have in the sky? They’re going to vouch for you on this. Be smart, do some planning and research, but don’t hesitate too long to pull the trigger on this. The next best time to buy something on this scale would be in early 2022.
Summer is going to bring a range of potential financial problems to address, most of them seemingly coming out of nowhere. As much you can prepare for something like this, you’re going to want to prepare. What will that involve? Accepting change (no pun intended) in all of its forms. You know that money is going to go up and down. Accept this, tighten your belt if need be, and press on. But you’ll also want to ask yourself: could I have prepared for this ahead of time? This is where having Jupiter in your corner is especially helpful. He’ll help you examine what you can foresee and what you can’t….and then save the right amount of money for when this situation happens again. Trust your instincts and don’t worry if you seem like a Chicken Little. The sky might not be falling, but it’s good to know when it’s about to rain. Look to September to provide some relief from this situation and start to feel calm again.
Isn’t it nice to know you have a banker you can trust? Isn’t it even nicer when he’s the largest planet in your local solar system? And just to top it all off with a bunch of niceness, how about when you realize that you do better with money than you thought? 2021 is the year of trusting yourself, Virgo, and believing that you can manage your money well. Take that confidence with you into 2022 and beyond and live like you’re the Monopoly man. You’ve got an exceptional line of credit at the Jupiter Savings and Loan.
If you try to figure out the healthiest way to live based on what you find online, you’ll drive yourself crazy. Contradictory information, outright lies, and lots of hype make it impossible to figure out what’s best. You’ve known this for a while, Virgo, but that hasn’t stopped you from looking around online for answers. What we want you to do this year is put the laptop away and go somewhere new for those answers. You are going to make it a point in 2021 to reach out to professionals. Those could be doctors, trainers, nutritionists, what have you. The point is: you’re not going to try and figure all this out alone.
But where to start? In the first week of January, we want you to reach out to your friends and loved ones, especially those that you know have had health issues in the recent past. It’s not intrusive to ask how they’re doing, what advice they’d have given their situation, and - if relevant - if there are any practitioners they’d either recommend or avoid. Make the rounds and hear people’s stories. They’ll no doubt be glad to get a lot of that off of their chests and you’ll be gathering important information.
You’ll then use that information to start setting up some appointments for yourself as soon as possible. Get yourself to a doctor for your checkup. See what a physical trainer says is the best routine for you to start with. And, of course, with all this professional advice: take it! Listen to what they have to say and follow their guidance. Be thoughtful about it, of course, and figure out if it makes sense to you, but these are professionals who want you to do well. All of that advice is important, but some that you’ll receive around February 10th or so is going to be extra important to you. This might not come in an official capacity, but just be an offhand remark you pick up on. Listen to it closely and follow it. It could very well spell the difference between life and death eventually.
You’re going to have a full schedule of activities by early May, Virgo. That’s going to be a lot to balance and maintain. We’re guessing you’re probably feeling a little bit of stress just thinking about that now. Don’t worry, though. As hectic as it may seem to you from a distance, it’s all going to be energizing and helping you live your life better. That said, you’re going to want a little down time at this point. Let’s call the month of May your recharge month. This is the time to schedule some massages (yes, we said massages plural), maybe make a spa day, maybe take a day trip somewhere where you can do absolutely nothing. The down time is a crucial part of your self-care regimen and it’s far too easy to overlook. If there’s any day you’ll want to take off from everything, make it May 9th. The stars are saying it’s a good day for you to completely unplug.
There’s nothing wrong with asking for help, Virgo. Sometimes we have no choice but to reach out to those who know much more than we do. That’s not only okay, it’s the best way to learn. 2021 is when you’re going to put your faith in experts and spend your time being a student more than a teacher. And in the course of that, you should emerge a healthier and smarter person. This will carry you through next year and beyond. Isn’t it great being a lifelong student?
