You are an exceptionally hard worker, Libra. You've been doing that for your entire adult life. That's not going to change in the 2020 year of the Rat. Instead of going home at the end of the workday, you kept going like clockwork. This won't be the year for you to retire (unless you were actually making plans to do so). This is, however, the time for you to take stock of the work you've done and give yourself some credit. Maybe your focus has been more towards other people's goals. Nothing wrong with that. But make sure you notice the work you've done for you. How much is there? 2020 is when you're going to even out that ratio, raise it up a bit. This might feel like an uncomfortable thing, but that self-centered in a good way. Don't worry: it's healthy and what you're supposed to do. You're not going to become a jerk from this, but you are going to get what's yours. You're going to work more for you from now on.
Start preparing for that eventual retirement by spending January 2020 with a good look at your current financial picture and some planning for what you'd like to do with your time. See if your current job is doing everything you'd hoped it would for you. If not, it's time to make a list of what you'd like from a career and what you'll need to do to achieve it. Even if your retirement is a long way off, start the preparation now. That long time frame is a great advantage for planning and saving. By the end of January 2020, make sure you have at least the draft of a plan in hand.
March 2020 may bring with it some work-related stresses. These could come in many forms. You might have an annoying co-worker who is trying to provoke some competition with you. Or a micromanaging boss hovering over your every move. Or maybe your employer is on some shaky ground and there are layoffs in the air. As best as you can, you want to try to ignore these and press on with your work. Certainly keep your eyes open and watch for any signs you need to be wary of, but otherwise, you should go about your business doing the best work that you can. This will be a version of that break you deserve that was mentioned earlier. Sometimes taking a break from work means taking a break from things that don't concern you (even if they'll eventually affect you). Take a break from unnecessary stress at your job. Jobs are stressful enough.
If you haven't fully taken any time off yet, Libra, you need to do that in December 2020. This is the perfect month for you to pull back, maybe sit by the fire, and bask in the fruits of your labor. You've worked very hard this year and deserve this break more than ever. This month is very much for you. If there was a vacation you had in mind, schedule it for mid-December and enjoy it. But more likely for you, it will be a staycation and that's perfectly fine as well. This is the month for you to be just a tiny bit selfish and treat yourself. Don't worry: you're not going to ignore your friends and family and any of their needs. You are going to default to taking care of yourself, though. So put your feet up, pull up a good book, and sit and watch the snowfall gently outside and enjoy.
